Q: How do I register on the EmailTray website?

A: You do not need to register once again if you have previously installed the EmailTray software on a computer and created a user account. Use your login details created during installation to access your account on the website.

Q: How do I add contacts to my Card Box?

A: If you have just joined the EmailTray online service you have plenty of opportunities.

First of all, complete your own business card so that we can find your work colleagues registered in EmailTray. You can also fill out your previous places of work and study (go to Colleagues and Former Classmates pages) so we can help you exchange cards with your former classmates and colleagues within a couple of clicks.

Another option is to import your contacts from your webmail address book and send them card exchange requests.

Finally, you can use a global search to find future business opportunities or reconnect with people you've lost contact with.

Just visit the Exchange cards section and try any option you like.

Q: How do I quickly find a particular person in my Card Box?

A: To find a person or a group of people in the list of your contacts, you can use:

  • Quick search
  • Predefined filters
  • Search tags

Quick search is useful when you start your search by entering simple words like position, name or company.

Filters can help you refine the list of presented business cards by a certain criteria. Click the filter image under the quick search field and select one of the filters presented in the list: view business cards recently added to you Card Box, marked as favorites, cards automatically added by the EmailTray software.

Tags are of great help when you systematically classify your connections according to some criteria. Click the filter image under the quick search field and select the Filter by Tag option to view all tags.

To quickly sort the list of your contacts hover the pointer on any contact in your Card Box, right click to open the menu and switch between recently added contacts or contacts sorted by name.

Q: I have mistakenly deleted a card that arrived for card exchange. Can I restore it?

A: Yes you can. We do not permanently delete any card or request you close or remove. Visit the Trash page to restore the required request or cards suggested by EmailTray.

Q: What will happen if I change the Identities list?

A: Emails listed in the Identities section of the website Settings are the same as in your EmailTray software. EmailTray users who receive emails from any listed email address will see your business card and their EmailTray software will recognize you as a trusted sender. Since we synchronize this list both on the website and in your software, you only need to modify it in one place.

Q: How do I know my public card URL?

A: Go to Settings and there you will find your public card URL: customize it if needed and save the changes.
