1. Collection and Use of Information
After the EmailTray software installation is complete, you are prompted to provide your email address and password to create your EmailTray account. The specified email address and password shall be used by the EmailTray software to sign in to your EmailTray account.
1.2. Mail database
Once installed, the EmailTray software shall prompt you to provide details of the email accounts that you want to be tracked by the EmailTray software to start using the EmailTray software to the full extent. After you have granted access to your email accounts, the EmailTray software shall analyze your email databases to establish what contacts are important to you. As a result, the EmailTray software shall send encrypted hashes of your contacts’ email addresses to the WebCEO’s servers to be able to identify emails from these contacts as important. These hashes cannot be decrypted and shall be securely protected from access by any third parties.
While processing incoming mail to identify important senders, the EmailTray software shall not send any email content, subject lines, email account login and password information from your computer to the WebCEO’s servers.
1.3. Partner API data
When you use the EmailTray software to view emails from senders that are not registered in the EmailTray system, the EmailTray software shall hash and securely send the senders’ email addresses to the API of partner companies. Doing so, the EmailTray software attempts to make visible the shared data (e.g. picture, name, occupation) for you in the EmailTray software window. The hashed email addresses of senders shall be transferred to our partners with the sole purpose of improving your experience of using the EmailTray software.
3. Log Files
Every time you visit the EmailTray website located at http://www.emailtray.com, WebCEO shall save your IP address, the name and IP address of a remote host computer, time, status and amount of transferred data, the website from which you entered the EmailTray website, the product and release data from your Web browser in a log file. WebCEO shall use the data from this log file in anonymous form without reference to your personal information for aggregated demographic and/or geographic statistics. Using the log file, WebCEO can also identify defects on the EmailTray website and thus continually improve the quality of WebCEO’s services.
The access to your personal data shall be protected with a password that you enter during the process of registration in the EmailTray software. WebCEO shall take all and every possible security measure to protect you against loss, misuse and alteration of data used by the EmailTray software.
Please note that unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user account information at any time.
5. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
The privacy of our users is very important for WebCEO. We shall not disclose, sell or rent the personal information to any third party for marketing purposes. We shall share your personal information with the third parties only if you instruct us to and only if such information is required to provide you with specific services. These third parties shall not retain, share or store any personal information except to provide these services and shall be bound by strict confidentiality agreements, which limit their use of such information.
WebCEO may disclose personal information to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by WebCEO, whether or not a response is required by applicable law.
WebCEO reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of WebCEO or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.
